Overview for Montana
For the 2020-21 school year, the Montana Office of Public Instruction (OPI) does not currently have data available on school learning models or student enrollment by learning model. COVID-19 case data for the state’s schools or districts are available from the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services. Data on when and if districts had masking policies in place for staff or students are available for districts that responded to the COVID-19 School Data Hub Masking Survey (note that the state did not have a mask mandate in effect during the school year).
